Hello, I am a laser scientist specializing in optics and photonics, currently serving as a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Toronto within the Miller Group and Atomically Resolved Dynamics. My academic journey includes both a PhD in Physics and a subsequent postdoctoral position at the Center for Optics and Photonics at Laval University, Canada. My primary research interest lies in laser physics, with a focus on the development of fiber laser sources. This interest has guided my career across not only academic but also industrial landscapes, including roles as a Senior R&D Scientist at Femtum, an industrial postdoctoctoral researcher at Light Matter Interaction Inc. and a Senior R&D engineer at FiberLAST Inc. At present, I am dedicated to developing novel high-power and high-energy fiber laser systems operating in both the infrared and mid-infrared regions of the electromagnetic spectrum. For a deeper insight into my research outputs and academic contributions, I invite you to visit the research section of my website to learn more about my research and the academic section to see my publications, conference proceedings, patents and theses.
